From Teacher to Heartfelt Messenger

Hi friends,

I’m Marjie, and I’d love to introduce myself.

First and foremost, I’m a proud single mom to three incredible humans. Life with young kids is wonderfully chaotic—and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Just behind them on my list of favorite people are my nieces and nephews, along with my five amazing sisters who have always supported me through everything. I was also raised by a pretty cool mom with a degree in recreation, who is excellent at writing letters.

And finally, let’s talk about the youth of America. I’m a high school teacher with 20 years of experience, and I continue to be inspired by the next generation every single day.

At my core, I’m passionate about connection and about finding small, meaningful moments to slow down and be present.

Our Journey of Sending Love

Sending Love began with a simple idea: to create meaningful moments of connection in a busy world. What started as a passion for thoughtful communication has grown into a commitment to quality, intention, and spreading a little more joy—one envelope at a time.

The Spark of Sending Love

The idea for Sending Love was born from a deep desire to bridge distances and bring back the simple, powerful act of sending something tangible. In a world that moves at lightning speed, this is a space to pause—to reflect, to connect, and to express what truly matters in a personal and lasting way.

My own journey, shaped by life’s challenges and the unwavering support of loved ones, showed me just how meaningful a thoughtful message can be.

Sending Love is about more than words on paper. It’s about creating a few intentional moments each month to slow down, breathe, and reconnect. It’s about knowing that no matter the distance, your care and affection can be felt in a real, physical way—arriving as a small but powerful moment of surprise and joy in someone’s day.

"Words are powerful. The magic of receiving a letter in today's digital age is truly unparalleled. It's a tangible piece of someone's heart and time."

When you choose Sending Love, my greatest hope is that you feel a sense of ease and confidence in sharing something meaningful. It’s not just about sending a little love—it’s about giving the people in your life a few quiet moments to pause, reflect, and feel truly seen.

For each recipient, I hope every message brings a spark of joy, a sense of being cherished, and a lasting reminder that they are thought of and deeply cared for.

We’re here to be your partner in creating these meaningful connections—reminding us all of the beauty that comes from slowing down, even just a little.
